If I right click on this screen anywhere, it goes permanently pitch-black, to the point where I can see the monitor gradually darken its self, and then even see as it increases the light when tabbing out.Īs said above, I tried the steps given to me several times, have reinstalled the game completely just to be sure and verified files as well on top of it all. The screen in particular is very laggy/jittery, as if it was running on about 10-16 fps tops. Let steam and DRG through firewall, tried with firewall straight up being turned off, restarted steam, waited for up to half an hour, etc. Every step it has detailed to me has been done several times. But now moving on to the next issue, I get permanently stuck on a very jittery "Waiting for steam to load" screen. which has been fixed with validation of files. Apparently there was an issue with some checksum mismatch. While working a lot more stably than previously this new computer would have DRG crash instantly on load. The OS and other such files are on the SSD, so I had to start some thing anew with the HDD now housing all software, including apps and OS. I got the HDD connected in this one, seeing as there were some issues with the SSD not being detected. On my previous computer I had an SSD and an HDD. With extensive assistance as well as gracious donations in the form of functional parts both from a close friend, I managed to get the computer working again. There wouldn't be anything specific to go off on other than that the entire thing more or less is crumpling under it's own self. Some context, but about a month / two ago I faced critical hardware failure with my own computer. This screen has been pestering me in the recent hours.
